(SCA) Screening Center Location

Thanks to the generous giving by local high schools and community centers, SCA screenings will be scheduled at locations throughout your County. At the Screening Centers, there will be community education for CPR and how to use AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). Students will be screened for family history, and ECG, and if necessary, an Echocardiogram.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) can make a difference in your life, your friends and/or family. AEDs are required by law to be available within minutes during sporting events. At HOCF Screening Events, we will be teaching students and families how to use the AED.

Need an Automated External Defibrillator?

If your school or school district cannot afford an AED, HOCF may assist to raise funds to donate an AED to your school. Please have your school and/or school district contact us at [email protected] or call our office at (805) 947-0775.
